Red Sea Compound

Located along Jeddah's new corniche, the Red Sea Compound emerges in a rapidly developing area, presenting an opportunity to shape a fresh identity for the region. As Jeddah's value increases, this project is designed to embrace both modernity and the rich cultural heritage of the area.

The site intervention consists of a series of simple stone volumes that form a serene, connected community along the Red Sea. These volumes are thoughtfully arranged to reflect the coastal setting, blending seamlessly with the landscape. The architecture features spacious family homes with communal areas scattered throughout. Stone and timber materials evoke elements of traditional Hijazi architecture, while modern forms provide a comfortable living experience. Each home offers a tranquil retreat with layers of privacy, creating a seamless transition from the street entrance to the communal spaces and into the private living areas.

BIM and programming enable efficient customization of each unit while maintaining a cohesive design language. Largely offsite, factory-based construction ensures rapid delivery and improved worker safety, making the project both efficient and sustainable.
